2017 Winter Fundraiser – Report

Heartfelt thanks from the PFSC Jr. Board to everyone who either attended, supported and/or contributed to our Winter Fundraiser Party recently. Not only was it a festive evening filled with camaraderie, laughter, games and great food but thanks to your invaluable support through ticket sales, donations and silent auction bidding, we raised enough to provide a stipend of $802 to each of our members Elizabeth Hong (Juvenile Ladies), Henry Privett-Mendoza (Novice Men) and Mirai Nagusu (Senior Ladies) to offset the costs either they or their families incurred to compete at the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championships recently. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Henry and Mirai for their amazing accomplishments at Nationals:
Elizabeth Hong: Juvenile Ladies, 7th place

Henry Privett-Mendoza: Novice Men, 9th place

Mirai Nagasu: Senior Ladies, Silver Medalist and received her well-deserved spot to the 2018 USA Olympic Team

The Pasadena Figure Skating Club is so proud of each of you!!! And we wish Mirai Nagasu the best of luck at the upcoming 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang.
We also want to say a special thank you to our invaluable donors who ensured we had a successful silent auction; businesses that include but not limited to: The Langham Huntington, Gold’s Gym, Dick Clark Productions – Screening Room, Courtyard Marriott-Pasadena and the California Pizza Kitchen, etc. Please click the attached link Donor Thanks for a contact info list of these and other generous local community businesses that our club hopes you will patronize soon! Thanks!
